This Government agency requires a Infrastructure Specialist to be responsible for the management ofa range of technical functions that support the Departments IT infrastructure requirements, with a focus on physical environments

**You will be responsible for**:

- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of infrastructure services
- Providing effective, consultation between the Technical Infrastructure team and the Vendor ensuring smooth workflow across Service Operations.
- Contributing to the definition of technology road maps and technical strategy in the areas of infrastructure and hosting services.
- Functional and operational management of infrastructure vendor relationships and internal delivery teams
- Creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation in all areas associated with managing infrastructure environments

**You will have**
- 7+ years’ experience working on medium to large infrastructure projects
- Significant experience in ICT infrastructure planning and development.
- Strong Azure and cloud services (IaaS/PaaS) experience
- Knowledge and proven success record of working with cloud related tools, products, and solutions
- Great influencing skills and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of ICT infrastructure / technology directions and trends including cloud computing, mobility and the digital workplace
