**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate 8-tonne forklifts safely and efficiently to move heavy steel components
- Load and unload trucks with materials up to 18 metres in length
- Liaise with production and dispatch teams to meet daily scheduling and delivery requirements
- Conduct pre-start checks and ensure machinery is maintained to safety standards
- Assist with general yard duties and other logistics tasks as required

**Qualifications** The following licenses and experience are desired**:

- Current forklift (LF) licence with demonstrated 8T experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating large forklifts in a steel, logistics, or industrial environment
- Ability to interpret load plans and basic workshop documentation
- Strong understanding of load security, spatial movement, and safe operation practices
- Excellent communication and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Position is for day shift, 6:30am through to 3:00pm
- Every Friday is a short day, knock off at 12:30pm
