Drake International, a global leader of recruitment workforce solutions, is seeking an experienced Return to Work Advisor to join our WHS Team in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Reporting to the National WHS Manager, you will be responsible for ongoing claims management across multiple industries including blue collar and healthcare.

***THE ROLE**
- Coordination of all aspects of injury management and workplace rehabilitation including claims lodgement and management, payment calculations
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, WorkCover insurers, medical practitioners, approved rehabilitation providers and other key stakeholders.
- Participate in case conferences and claim reviews to establish rehabilitation pathways and return to work objectives.
- Participate in formal investigations as required
- Assist in the development, implementation and training of processes and practices relating to injury management and WHS in general
- Assist with training and upskilling internal staff to improve injury management and WHS performance.
- Work with Drake's clients to ensure return to work objectives are met
- Conduct internal WHS compliance audits

***ABOUT YOU**
- Minimum 2 years' recent injury management experience with either an employer or insurer.
- Comprehensive and practical understanding of Workcover and Workers Compensation legislation, principles and contemporary injury management practices.
- Strong ability to exercise discretion and initiative when dealing with matters of a confidential and sensitive nature.
- Sound knowledge of WHS within a blue-collar or healthcare environment.
- Certificate IV in WHS desirable.
- Exceptional time management with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, include the Microsoft Office suite.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Current drivers' licence and own transportation.
