**Location**:
21 Jijaws Street, Sumner, QLD 4074
**Working Hours**:
38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

As a valued Draftsperson at BIA Fabrication Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in our design and production process. You will be responsible for translating concepts into detailed, accurate drawings that guide our steel fabrication projects. Working closely with our production and sales personnel, your role will involve breaking down plans and designs to fabrication components and then liaising with suppliers and procurement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate precise and comprehensive technical drawings for steel fabrication projects.
- Collaborate with clients and fabricators to refine and enhance design concepts.
- Utilize leading drafting software to create 2D and 3D models meeting project specifications.
- Make revisions to drawings as necessary, based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
- Maintain organized records of design iterations, changes, and final versions.

**Qualifications**:

- Proof of proficiency in drafting software ie, courses or previous work.
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Understanding of steel fabrication processes and materials.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Previous experience in steel fabrication or related industries is advantageous.

**Salary**: $28.42 - $35.00 per hour
