- We are currently seeking a self-motivated
- **Preventative Maintenance Technician **to join our team based at
- **Wetherill Park on a 6-month fixed term contract
- **with the possibility to extend.
- This role will see you develop and coordinate the implementation and administration of a schedule of planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance for equipment and machinery.**Duties will include, but not be limited to**:

- Develop and maintain a functional preventive maintenance program/schedule by utilizing industry standards.
- Develop and maintain required parts list per each piece of equipment/machinery.
- Coordinate/streamline installation and/or repairs of equipment
- Develop and maintain a task code library, adding new tasks as needed.
- Performs random checks of PM for equipment handled by external contractors to ensure reliability and quality of work
- Maintains records of planned and completed maintenance.
- Develop and coordinate plans for reconstruction or installation of new equipment and/or machinery
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

**To be successful within this role, you will have**:

- Tertiary Qualifications, or working towards tertiary qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills / administrative skills
