In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we are seeking a **Cleaner** to join us on a Full Time basis at **RAAF Williams **defence base in **Laverton**, located in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.

Join an essential services business, working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm in a friendly and supportive team.

As a cleaner, you will assist with cleaning activities on site in accordance with the daily, periodical and emergency cleaning programs whist ensuring that all HSE requirements are being satisfied

**What you'll be doing**:

- Ensure external and internal building walls, doors, door screens, and eaves are free of cobwebs, birds' nests, insect nests, dirt and fungus.
- Cleaning of pergolas, ceilings, air vents, lights and fittings. Ensure all pergolas are clean and free from cobwebs. Conduct cleaning activities on site in a safe manner which conforms to all HSE requirements.
- Initiate appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities in processes or systems.
- Partake in quality monitoring inspections and rectify any non-conformances identified.
- Identify and report problems observed whilst working on site.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Cleaning Experience in a commercial environment desirable
- Cert III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) desirable
- Good communication and time management skills.
- An eye for detail and being proactive.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- Working with children’s check

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check.
