We have a number of positions available for enthusiastic people looking to start or continue their Carpenter apprenticeship in the Mornington area.

If the idea of working with your hands, working out doors, and working on construction sites appeals to you, a Carpentry apprenticeship ticks all the right boxes. You will get the opportunity to work alongside professional tradespeople and you will learn all aspects of the Carpentry trade. You will also receive dedicated support from HIA Apprentices in all aspects of your training and employment.

About HIA Apprentices

Please note that we have a huge demand for junior apprentices at the moment **(under 21 years of age)**
- Some tasks will require moderate dexterity and moderate to high physical exertion through varied working positions, e.g. standing, kneeling, bending and overhead positions, working at heights plus digging and handling building products._
- Apprentices are expected to be available during required working hours for both work placements and trade school/training centre environments and make their own safe travel arrangements._
- Please note that all tasks carried out in conjunction with this position will be done so in accordance with WHS/OHS legislative requirements, codes of practice, job safety analysis and safe working/operating procedures._
