Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking passionate Disability Support Workers to join the team, located throughout Northern Melbourne.
- 58-year-old male participant.
- Thornbury location.
- Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Possibility of adding Monday.
- Open to male and female support workers.
- Participant is looking for a support worker who is proactive, shows initiative, who can work autonomously and with little direction in regards to their care and support around the home.
- Motor Neurone Disease (MND) experience preferred. PEG, nebuliser and NIV experience required.
- Tasks include: in-home support, basic community access, basic domestic assistance such as light cleaning and meal prep.
- Potential for additional hours with other MND participants nearby.

We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients.

**Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain)**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants
