Cityview Farm is seeking a highly motivated casual Stud Hand to join our dedicated team. We operate as a thoroughbred mare farm located in Gisborne South, Victoria, approximately 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

Stud Hands are responsible for the routine care, welfare and handling of broodmares, foals, weanlings, yearlings, and spellers. Stud Hands also assist with the preparation of bloodstock for sales. Some other duties include but are not limited to:

- Assisting the veterinarian
- Assisting the farrier
- Cleaning and maintaining stables, yards, and paddocks
- Daily feed run and making of feeds
- Monitoring the well-being of bloodstock as well as identifying and reporting any injuries and other abnormalities back to manager or supervisor

At this stage, the successful applicant will be required to work Mondays and Thursdays as well as every second weekend. Experience within the industry is ideal however individuals with horse experience that are willing to learn are also encouraged to apply.
