The Mount Monger Operation (MMO) is an expansive tenement package located 50km southeast of Kalgoorlie. Spanning multiple gold mineralisation styles, this dynamic operation currently includes the Daisy Milano Underground Mine, the Santa, French Kiss and Flora Dora Open pit mines and the Randalls Gold Processing Facility.

Reporting to the Senior Geologist, the** Graduate Geologist**position will be Initially based in the centralised core processing facility, you will have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in the industry through exposure to mineralisation that spans all Mount Monger’s operations, with hands-on practical experience, data collation, analysis and processing. You will learn industry best practice while understanding how to operate in a safe, sustainable and efficient manner.

The position will be offered on an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth.

**Key responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Learn the geological stratigraphy and complete core logging to industry and company standards.
- Assist with underground mapping and sampling
- Opportunity to be exposed to open pit mine Geology, including ore spotting and sampling
- Develop collaborative working relationships with other departments, contractors and colleagues alike
- Updating the database with geological and assay information
- Undertaking geological data validation
- Ensuring effective communication through reporting on a daily and monthly basis

**About You**
- Degree in Geology or a related discipline.
- Hold a current WA Driver’s License (manual C Class).
- Developing an understanding of the statutory requirements of the Western Australian Mining Act and Regulations, as well as the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act.
- Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail and possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite.
- Vacation work experience within the Mining industry, ideally within Gold Mining, will be highly regarded.
