IT Technician

Cooroy Computers is a small family owned business that is growing. Our desire is to support locals with their IT needs. We know computers can be frustrating and sometimes have a mind of their own. That's why we are passionate about getting our customer's computers/devices back up and running. We aim to provide a high level of customer service, always with a smile.

Position:

- We are looking for a technician to join our team
- To work a minimum of 20hrs per week, up to 30hrs per week (Tuesday - Friday)
- Happy to be flexible for school holidays and young children
- Experience essential

What you'll do:

- Conduct routine electronic assembly
- Inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards
- Assemble components using basic written, spoken and/or diagrammatic instructions in an assembly environment
- Receive, dispatch, distribute, sort, check, pack, document and record goods, materials and components
- Conduct basic inventory control
- Run routine diagnostics on equipment
- Perform routine maintenance of electronic business equipment
- Perform non-technical tasks incidental to the employee’s work
- Maintain reports or records in accordance with company procedures
- Work independently at a customer site as assigned
- Perform technical duties in accordance with company procedures on basic equipment
- Perform equipment checkout to ensure proper equipment performance to meet company standards and customer expectations
- Resolve routine malfunctions where cause and correction are readily identifiable
- Render technical support in conformity with the manufacturer’s/company procedures and specifications
- Review the performance of equipment being serviced
