**About the role and where you will be working**:
To provide high quality customer service and be responsible for the maintenance of the gardens and grounds at Faulkner Park facilities.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for managing gardens, grounds, and lawns across the facility.
- Community and residential garden areas.
- Mowing, trimming, tree cutting and pruning.
- Checking reticulation and sprinklers in working order.
- Maintenance of all lawns and turf.
- Safe work practices.
- Removal of rubbish and foliage to bin.
- Cleaning away excess leaves and keeping all walkways clear of overgrown plants.
- Other duties directed by the line manager.

**About you**:

- You will have sound knowledge of plants and gardening practices.
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Ability to adjust duties with flexibility according to the needs of the villages and care facilities
- Reticulation maintenance experience
- Aware of safety issues relating to garden maintenance, including but not limited to chemical and fertilizer handling controls.
- Must hold a valid First Aid Certificate
