**ROLE DETAILS**

**Location**: Ivanhoe, VIC

**Children**: 8 month old, 2.5 year old, and 4 year old

**Pay rate**: $37-40 per hour plus Super (Casual employment, but an alternative Permanent Part-Time offer can be negotiated if desired)

**Days**:Wednesdays and Thursdays (can be flexible for the right person, to lock in alternative days or offer more days)

**Hours**: 8am-6pm (or similar)

**Start date**:February (flexible).

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Permanent Australian Residency
- 2+ years of experience with children of similar ages
- Fully vaccinated
- 2 outstanding references we can call.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
This family with 3 young boys is seeking a nanny/home manager to support the parents and their busy/varied work schedules. The number one priority will be care of the children. It's important that the nanny is nurturing and able to be creative with activities in and outside of the home to keep the children engaged.

The parents also want support with household tasks such as simple family meals, laundry, and helping to maintain a tidy home. Some of these tasks will be juggled alongside childcare in time, but there may also be times when Mum is at home so the expectations will be manageable.

The right person for this role will be energetic and active, organised, supportive of the parents' values (no screens, a positive and loving approach), and eager to form a strong bond with the children.

**ABOUT THE FAMILY**
The family is active and values time outdoors, books, and learning through play. Both parents work, with Mum returning to work part-time a few months after they find their new nanny. They expect to share care between themselves and two nannies, due to their changing work schedules and need for reliable and consistent care. They are, however, open to considering one full-time nanny if it's the right person.

The 4 year old will attend Kinder 4 days a week next year (not Wednesdays) Both of the older boys are delightfully energetic and the best of frenemies - playful and competitive. They are gentle with their baby brother and learning to navigate squabbles and play independently more often now that Mum is sometimes focused on feeding the baby.
