Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. A fantastic opportunity is now available for qualified Assistants In Nursing to join the Nursing Relievers team located at Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital, located in Katoomba.

Assistants in Nursing (AIN) provide support to the nursing team in an acute care environment as directed by the Registered Nurse/Midwife and provide direct care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Descriptor: Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care)
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide a person centred approach to patient care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal
- Previous recent experience working in an acute care setting
- Demonstrated evidence of complying with Immunisation category A
