About Your Next Role
As part of our growing Finance Team, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Fraud Analyst to work within our Tax, Treasury and Risk team. Your eye for detail, interpretation of transaction data and spotting the unusual is the to the success of this role.
Reporting to the Tax, Treasury and Risk Manager you will be responsible for identifying and flagging suspicious activity across our transactions processed through the payment gateways. Reporting financial inconsistencies and working as our fraud sleuth. This role is integral in the investigations into suspicious transactions and to mitigate fraud across our business.
The Fraud Analyst is responsible for
- Identifying and flagging suspicious activity leading to loss
- Identifying fraudulent/high risk transactions processed through the payment gateways
- Investigate suspicious transactions and interpret transaction data
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to help educate and mitigate fraud
- Deliver superior customer service to support internal stakeholders
- Work closely with relevant areas of the finance team and report to the Tax, Treasury and Risk Manager.
About You;
- You will be problem solver with an analytical mindset and a high attention to detail.
- You will have experience working in Fraud Analysis or a similar field
- You will have a minimum of three years' experience in retail or FMCG multi-site environment
- Have prior experience managing payment gateway setups in a retail environment
- Have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and can manipulate data and formulas
- Have practical accounting experience in the delivery of month end reporting and related accountancy reporting.
