Our client is seeking a
**Fieldwork Coordinato**r to assist with the delivery of multiple seed collecting projects.

**About the role**:

- Coordinate the fieldwork program to secure seed collections of targeted native species
- Prepare trip plan documentation taking various requirements into account
- Make seed and herbarium collections from wild plant populations, create field records and enter and maintain field books
- Undertake planning and rostering for the Seedy Volunteer program
- Keep track of project milestones and assist with delivery and reporting for external projects under the direction of supervisors and managers

**Ideally you will have**:

- Relevant bachelor’s degree, technical expertise in horticulture and/or botany, or experience undertaking remote field work
- Ability to set priorities and plan own work to deliver tasks to completion and contribute to team goals
- Strong teamwork and communication skills and ability to supervise or coach volunteers
- Experience collecting, manipulating, analysing and presenting collection records and data in accurate and efficient ways to contribute to databases and/or report

**Mandotry requirements**:

- A Bachelor of Science or similar qualification and/or experience is required for this position
- A Driver’s Licence
- Senior First Aid
