
Store Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the patisserie
- Manage and motivate a small team of front-of-house staff
- Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times
- Oversee the display, stock rotation, and presentation of pastries and products
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders with suppliers as needed
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints efficiently
- Manage cash handling, daily reconciliation, and banking
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards according to food safety regulations
- Train new staff and implement ongoing development
- Work closely with kitchen/pastry chefs to ensure timely production and product consistency
- Prepare staff rosters and manage shift schedules
- Track sales performance and suggest ways to improve store profitability
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Store Manager or Supervisor in a hospitality or retail environment (patisserie, café, bakery preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Good understanding of inventory control and ordering systems
- Basic financial and POS knowledge
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
- Passion for food, especially pastries and sweets
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Salary is between $70000-$74000 plus superannuation 11.5 % full-time position 40 hours per week
