We are currently seeking an** Inventory Controller** to** **support the National Clothing Store Services contract on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the National Inventory Manager, you will Ensure that all elements of the National Clothing Store Services within the allocated Store site are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and appropriate Defence and Ventia Policy.

This position will be based at Vic Barracks in Southbank.

**In addition, you will be doing**:

- Support the Network Inventory Manager in balancing inventory holdings across the network.
- Assist with undertaking Logistic Support and Inventory Management within NCSS contract.
- Assist with entering and updating data into MILIS.
- Provide helpdesk support on Inventory matters.
- Support rollouts of new Clothing Items.
- Analyse of performance and recommend improvement strategies.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience with MS suite and ERP/WMS systems.
- Understanding of Supply Chains.
- Technical exposure to Defence Logistics and warehousing desirable
- Ability to interpret data.
- Ability to problem solve and identify areas of opportunity.
- Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
