Bayview Geographe Resort is part of the Bayview International Hotels & Resorts Group, offering 8 properties throughout Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand, with plans to expand further over the coming years.

Located just a short drive from the centre of Busselton, we are situated right on the beautiful Geographe Bay beach. Our property spans over 27 acres and our accommodation options include studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom villas.

**The role**:
As the Guest Operations Duty Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager - Front Office and the Operations Manager - Housekeeping. You will work closely with both Front Office and Housekeeping departments to ensure the continued smooth running of operations and will assist them with enhancing our guest’s experience through supervision and support to all team members.

As our Guest Operations Duty Manager, some of your duties will include:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the day to day operations of the departments, ensuring they are operating efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the Operations Managers, including leading and managing all sections of the departments in order to ensure high service standards.
- Competently complete the Operation Manager’s duties in their absence.
- Manage the guest experience from arrivals through to departures.
- Create, monitor and amend reservations.
- Deliver memorable experiences to our guests by providing a high level of customer service at all times.
- Investigate guest complaints and take corrective action in resolving these.
- Complete relevant reporting procedures for both departments as required.
- Have a clear understanding of room configurations and products provided.
- Ensure guest accommodation has been cleaned in line with operational checklists and product standards.
- Additional responsibilities as required by the business.

Essential requirements for this role are:
**Requirements**:

- Experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in a hospitality setting.
- Previous experience working in the Accommodation sector.
- Experience working with Opera or a similar hotel software.
- Great communication skills with a solution focussed approach.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality output.
- A high level of grooming and personal presentation standards.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.

**It is essential that you are able to source your own local accommodation, have a valid driver’s licence and have full working rights to work in Australia.**

This is a full time position with a salary of $73,348 + Super. Applications will close on Friday, 11th of October.
