**Position description**:
We seek an enthusiastic **Laboratory Aide **to join our vibrant Laboratory in Gateshead. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

- An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic laboratory aide to join our laboratory on a permanent full-time basis.
- The role will requires a person willing to multi-skill in numerous areas
- Including unpacking, coding and preparation of pathology specimens for testing, report sorting, data entry and results phoning.
- The position will require you to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.

- Is available to participate in a rotating roster which includes weekends and public holidays
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting or a Certificate in Pathology Aide is desirable but not necessary.
- A hard-working, motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a team player
- Strong attention to detail with good time management skills and excellent communication skills.
