We are urgently hiring an
**Automation Tester** for one of our clients. You will be participating in the functional and test automation delivery by designing, developing, maintaining, and executing functional and automated test solutions.

**This is a full-time role based in Melbourne.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and users to understand testing needs and identify automation opportunities
- Test Automation scripts as part of continuous integration CI/CD framework
- Provide reporting on defect tracking and escalates technical issues as needed to managers
- Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures

**Essential Requirements**:

- Extensive years of experience as a Technical Tester or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python or JavaScript
- Extensive knowledge of and experience in gathering, understanding, and documenting requirements
- Ability to engage with and communicate with business stakeholders on technical undertakings
