**Hay Press Operator - multiple positions available**

Narrakine Hay is a family owned and operated business that produces, packages and exports hay and straw to the Asian market. The business is located at 11661 Albany Hwy in Williams, Western Australia, 6391.

As a Hay Press Operator, your everyday responsibilities include:

- Moving hay / straw packs to the plant;
- Operating a Shultz Industries hay press. The press if fully automated and involve the operator to engage through an Allan Bradely HMI interface. Some press settings and functions are adjusted at this interface and a knowledge of automated systems would be an advantage. Hygiene is also of utmost importance and keeping press area clean to prevent contamination of export hay is very important. Moving and stacking of pressed hay and loading hay into export containers is done with a forklift and a forklift ticket would be necessary.
- Operating and maintaining 5 OMS automatic HS1300 strapper heads. This includes basic maintenance and cleaning of the head in order to ensure packaging of hay bales.
- Removing hay bales from the plant;
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work site in accordance with Department of Agriculture’s guidelines for an export registered establishment.

We are seeking someone who:

- Is highly motivated with strong work ethics;
- Can work well in a team environment;
- Is willing to do shirt work;
- Is able to meet deadlines;
- Has a sound mechanical knowledge and understanding of fully automated electrical systems.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Shift work
