**About the role**
An opportunity exists for Personal Care Workers to join our team at Oak Towers Aged Care Service in the delivery of services to our residents. In this multi-tasked care role you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents with both high and low care needs. You will assist residents with activities of daily living in a way that maximises their independence.
Your role will be varied but centred around providing quality personal care and quality improvement activities. This will include assisting residents with their mobility to and from activities including meals and supporting them to participate in activities within the facility and social outings.
Oak Towers Aged Care Service has a variety of flexible shifts available and you will be working a mixture of morning, afternoon, night and weekend shifts. **About you**
You are often praised for your compassionate nature and approachability. You will have the ability to easily establish and build rapport with people, in addition to being a naturally caring and positive individual.
Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or related discipline;
- Demonstrated solid experience in Aged Care;
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7 day week, with availability at short notice;
- Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Screening Check or the ability to obtain.
- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are _**_required to be up to date with_**_ their COVID-19 Vaccination. As part of the recruitment processes we ask that you provide evidence that your vaccination meets the requirements of Churches of Christ policy or the applicable public health direction._
