RCR Mining Technologies are seeking experienced **Mechanical Fitter** to join our team located in our Bunbury Workshop.

RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Mechanical Fitter** to join our Bunbury Workshop team. This role requires sound mechanical knowledge, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering professional and efficient service to support the performance of critical mining equipment.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Overhaul and assemble gearboxes, pumps, pulleys, valves, screens, and OEM components to high-precision standards
- Operate and maintain workshop equipment relevant to your skill set
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions accurately
- Manage workshop cleanliness, tool condition, and equipment integrity
- Assist and guide apprentices and trade assistants to support team capability
- Provide feedback to improve tooling, processes, and the working environment

**To be considered for this position, you must possess the following**:

- Based locally in the South West region
- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Work at Heights Certificate
- Confined Space Certificate
- Dogging/Rigging (preferred but not essential)
- Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Fitness to handle manual labour and provide a clear drug and alcohol screening
- A solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine reliable nature.
