**About the role**:
Reporting to the Coordinator, the Team Leader provides leadership and support to staff within their allocated early intervention programs. These programs support vulnerable children and young people (aged 10-18), and their families, to improve their wellbeing and safety, keep their family units strong and prevent entry/re-entry into the statutory systems. In addition you will;
- Coordinate the entry and allocation of clients to each team as part of Intercept’s intake;
- Undertake counselling, advocacy, complex case management and mediation for young people and their families/carers, including parent education following a strengths based model of care;
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families and other stakeholders, and work closely with key referring agents such as child safety, police, health and education;
- Participate in networks and forums to promote, enhance and develop linkages within the community;
- Support the teams to develop and facilitate group programs/workshops for young people and their families/carers.

**_This role is part time (3 days per week) fixed term for 12 months._**

**About you**:
You will possess a tertiary qualification in Human Services delivery and/or significant experience in a similar role. In addition to this skill set you will have;
- Demonstrated understanding of complex case management.
- High level experience in delivery of services
- A current Australian driver licences
- Ensure you are compliant with the Disability Services Act 2006 screening requirements for non government services providers.
