**-Varied Roster Approx. 12am til 10am Mon - Fri, Saturdays as required**

**-Permanent casual to start, fulltime after 6 months trial.**

Better Choice Fisheries is one of Australia’s largest privately owned Seafood Processing companies

We are looking to appoint someone in the role of Fish Scaler.

**Experience with food handling a must.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Scaling & cleaning fish
- Removing waste
- Daily cleaning of Warehouse
- Palletising stock for storage
- Loading and Unloading of stock using forklift

General upkeep of the quality of product

Any adhoc duties required

Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of fish/seafood products
- Understanding of company HACCP food safety program and the cold chain process in particular
- Excellent communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent organisational skills
- Forklift licence

**Essential**

Be physically fit and able to perform repetitive heavy lifting. Must be certified medically fit.

**Desirable**

Previous experience in similar role would be considered an advantage

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Similar: 1 year (preferred)
