The position is based at 62Thirty Cafe & Bar, 829 Anchorage Cove, Bunbury WA 6230. The business is located at Bunbury's premier beachfront location on the sands of Koombana Bay. There is the possibility of both career advancement & skill development.

Position Title: Restaurant Manager (Food and Beverage Manager) - Full time (38 hrs a week)

**Salary**: $ 73,500 - $ 78,000 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure that Dining facilities are clean, functional and of suitable appearance and comply with the standards and health regulations.
- Working with chefs and suppliers to keep purchasing costs down, keeping the general cost under control.
- Doing all rostering, recruitment and training of all members for the various front-of-house roles and working with the kitchen team.
- Handling cash management and financial transactions with precision
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience
- Establish leading and cost-effective practices throughout the restaurant, focusing on a harmonious working environment for all team members.
- To effectively maintain and grow the business organically and with new marketing initiatives and forecasting growth areas.
- Reporting to the management and analysis of sales, trends, staff performance and product inventory
- Planning and organising special functions and events
- Planning menus in consultation with the chef
- Training and supervising Waiting staff and Shift in charge
- Managing day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth operations, including opening and closing.
- Addressing concerns by staff or guests with professionalism.
- Order and maintain restaurant stock and supplies in a timely and efficient manner according to the restaurant's requirements
- Walk the Floor during service periods to ensure excellent service levels are delivered to the customers.
- Act as a main point of communication between front-of-house and back-of-house colleagues
- Maintaining a high level of service, reviewing customer feedback
- Actively seek and identify opportunities for business growth

Skills Requirement
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in hospitality management, with demonstrated experience leading a team
- Hold relevant qualifications (Cert III, IV / Diploma in Hospitality or higher qualification in Hospitality Management)
- Eye for detail and consistency
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work and communicate within a team
- Attention to personal hygiene & self-presentation is essential
- Tidiness is essential, and have great food safety practices

Pay: $73,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
