**About the role**:
We have an amazing opportunity for someone with high volume contact centre experience to join our switchboard team at head office in South Brisbane. You will provide secretarial and reception support while being the first point of contact for customer queries. Reporting to the Switchboard Team Leader, you will be required to work Monday - Friday 76hrs/fortnight (8hr shifts falling between opening hours of 6:30am - 6:00pm). The role is initially offered as a 6 month contract, with the possibility of longer term or permanent options in the future.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage and answer the computerized (ARC) switchboard ensuring both internal and external customers receive an outstanding customer service experience
- Assist the courier with distribution of contents from courier bag throughout the day
- Action franking of mail
- Meet and greet all visitors if reception is unavailable, providing exceptional customer service
- Provide water, tea, coffee to visitors when appropriate
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

**About you**:
We are seeking a positive, team-focused individual who has a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also possess the following:

- Previous experience in a high volume call centre/switchboard environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Available to work between the hours of 6:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday, with a willingness to occasionally work additional hours during periods of leave within the team
