Head Barista

**About the Role**

An amazing opportunity to join our Black Star Pastry Rosebery team You will be working as the Head Barista in our busy Rosebery store with the incredible St.Ali Coffee from Melbourne, this position would suit someone who is wanting to progress in there coffee career Currently moving 40-45kg per week with the support of a backup barista.

**Salary**:Level 3, Restaurant Award 2020 $58,200 ($29.45 p/h)

**Training and support**:

- On the job training and support from St.Ali

***Roster**:

- Full-time 5days with a work life balance with Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon off
- Shift times are across 7am - 6pm

***Team**: We have a full team consisting of Full-Time and Casual Baristas and FOH staff, with a highly supportive and approachable Manager.

**Support**: You will be highly supported by our entire Black Star Team. We are a very humble, approachable and fun team - where we truly appreciate our Managers and team members (you can ask them)

**About You**
- Minimum 2-3years experience as a Barista
- Be confident making 40-45kg per week with the support of a backup barista
- Able to dial in the morning and adjust grinder through out the day as required
- Experience with specialty coffee
- Be able to assist with on going training for upcoming baristas within Black Star Pastry
- Motivated and positive team player
- Excited about customer service
- Takes pride in maintaining consistent with recipes & product quality
- Authentic and down to earth with a genuine love of people
