Byron Shire Council is currently seeking enthusiastic **Customer Service Officers**. The positions play a key role in providing efficient and effective delivery of Council services to customers, ensuring service excellence.

Some specific tasks include:

- Actively listening to, understanding and empathising with customers of Council and work towards satisfactory outcomes.
- Providing accurate and timely advice on a broad range of enquiries.
- Undertaking administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail with data entry/keyboard skills.
- Accessing, maintaining and retrieving data from Council's property and revenue databases.
- Providing accurate cashiering.
- Operating a telephone system for a medium to large organisation.

**Location**:
This position is based at Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
