Apprentice Dental Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Dental Technician. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and mentorship to develop the skills necessary for a successful career in dental technology. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will learn to fabricate a variety of dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental appliances.

We will support you to complete the Cert IV Dental Technology through North Metro Tafe, providing financial assistance to cover tution fees and other course related expenses.

Role Description
- Assist in the fabrication of dental prosthetics according to prescribed specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete Apprenticeship to a high standard.

- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in dental technology.
- Basic understanding of dental anatomy and terminology is a plus but not required.

Preferred Skills
- Already commenced and progressing in Apprenticeship in Dental Technology (Diploma of Dental Technology)
- Completion of Cert III Dental Laboratory Assisting
