**About the role**:
The primary objective of the Food Safety & Risk Officer is to contribute to effective management and continuous improvement through maintaining the plant food safety program. This involves planning, organising, directly controlling and evaluating activities related to food safety of all products manufactured onsite. Here, they will work closely with the operations team and quality assurance coordinators onsite.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement the best food safety controls measures possible
- Identify and follow up non-conformance of the food safety program with effective action plans
- Safety: Incidents reported, investigated and documented in timely manner
- Work in conjunction with site operations and management to drive continuous improvement
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for food safety
- Ensure laboratory & hygiene processes and procedures are adhered to appropriately
