Vehicle Trimmer

Vehicle Trimmer required for our trimming business located in Capel Sound/Rosebud.

Trim Works by Mullies specialises in all marine and automotive upholstery, carpets and canvas and is looking to enhance and grow it’s existing team.

The successful applicant will be carrying out a large variety of marine and automotive trimming jobs in our workshop alongside a small enthusiastic team.

It is desirable that the applicant has the following experience:

- Install, repair and replace the interior trim of vehicles/ vessels such as seats, linings, floor coverings and door trims.
- Remove old coverings or fittings from vehicles/ vessels and take new measurements
- Select, measure and cut out pieces of fabric, vinyl or leather using shears or electric cutting tools
- Sew pieces together using industrial sewing machines
- Fit trim in vehicles/ vessels
- Repair and manufacture seat covers
- Repair and manufacture custom vehicle/ vessel covers
- Manufacture work according to drawings and sketches
- Relevant certificate III and at least 2 years of experience OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines

Previous work experience in the Automotive Industry in Vehicle trimming including seats, doors, roofs and carpets and in the Marine Industry with experince including clears, covers, canopies, and interior/exterior seating would be an advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $73,150.00 - $83,150.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
