Perigon Group is working with an Inner city based client to recruit for an experienced Payroll Administrator.
**Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate empathy and respect for clients/employees.
- Assist with payroll operations and duties.
- Utilize experience with Business and/or Payroll systems like Preceda or similar systems.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Prepare detailed documents using word processing and/or other business software.
- Assist in managing and monitoring business systems and processes.
- Respond to staff payroll inquiries.
- Learn all aspects of payroll operations for backup support.
- Certificate IV in Business or Administration or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Business or Payroll operations.
- Current knowledge and experience with Preceda or similar systems (Desirable).
- Familiarity with relevant Awards/Agreements and payroll-related legislation and requirements.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a high-performing member of the payroll team.
