**ABOUT US**
Advantaged Care owns and operates five services. An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the organisation at our Head Office. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is located in Padstow.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
To process invoices and arrange payment of supplier invoices, whilst ensuring all internal control procedures with purchases are maintained.
All payments must adhere to our payment terms or otherwise; thereby guaranteeing smooth running for the operations. Invoices will be processed on a timely basis, although initiative must be used when prioritization is required.
**Duties include but not limited to**:
- Entering weekly invoices
- Ensuring proper coding of the invoices
- Payment preparation and processing (Credit Card and EFT)
- Preparing bank file for EFT payment run
- Sending remittance advices
- Responding to management’s queries
- Responding to supplier’s payment queries
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Credit Card reconciliation
- BAS preparation for 5 facilities + HO
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Management and filing of vendor invoices
- Ad hoc duties as required by the financial accountant
- Tertiary qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience of at least 1-2 years in bookkeeping and accounting
- Clear understanding of and personal commitment to the Values of Advantaged Care.
- Demonstrated level competencies including financial business processes,
- Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency comfortable with learning new skills to operate accounting software for aged care industry (EPICOR).
- Internal and external communication skills and relationship management.
- Ability to gain knowledge of a range of legislation including and not limited to the Aged Care Act (1997) the relevant Occupational Health and Safety legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
