This full service modern Dental Laboratory has full time opportunities available for experienced and qualified Dental Technicians.

**Position Description**

**Job Title**: Dental Technician (Removable Prosthetics)

**Responsibilities**:
This position will undertake various activities of the company's production work. The Technician will be a member of the dental laboratory team who, upon prescription from a dental clinician, constructs custom made restorative and dental appliances. The Technician will be responsible for the fabrication, alteration or repair of dental devices such as dentures, splints and other appliances.

**Main Duties**

The main duties of the position include:

- Read the prescription to establish the doctor’s preferences.
- Evaluate model work and articulations
- Select denture teeth from tooth stock per doctor’s specifications
- Mark model for outline of restoration
- Create base plates
- Create bite registration rims
- Set denture teeth on fully edentulous cases
- Set denture teeth on partially edentulous cases
- Make splints

**Skill Level**
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail oriented

**Essential Skills**
- Required: Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience

**Salary**

Depending on experience salary range $63,000 to $70,000
