Canteen Assistant

We are currently seeking a Canteen Assistant to support our Canteen team in providing healthy and quality food services for all staff and students.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a busy customer-facing role.

Location: Geelong High School Canteen, East Geelong

This is a casual position, Monday to Wednesday 8.00am - 2.30pm.

Approx 40 weeks per year/school calendar. All school holidays off so would perfectly suit a school mum.

Wage: Restaurant Industry Award 2020

ESSENTIAL
⭐️Previous experience working in school canteens (desirable)
⭐️Great customer service and communication skills
⭐️kitchen duties including preparation of food and cleaning dishes
⭐️Assisting with food and beverage sales via POS terminal
⭐️General cleaning and hygiene duties throughout the Canteen service area

⭐️Experience in working with people with disability, this is a supported employment environment
