**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of event staff and casual support staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure seamless event execution.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and requirements, providing on the spot solutions and problem solving.
- Have an understanding of budgeting and cost control to ensure that company goals are met.
- Execute all aspects of event logistics, including vendor management, audiovisual setup, venue layouts, set up, and catering service.
- Oversee event timelines, ensuring that all components are executed according to schedule and that potential issues are proactively addressed.
- Monitor event registration processes, ticketing, and attendee management, utilizing event management software and tools.
- Supervise on-site event operations, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Implement best practices for health, safety, and security measures during events.
- Evaluate event success through post-event assessments, collecting feedback from clients, attendees, and team members to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of stock used and input financial data into POS system.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in event execution, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality events.
- Flexibility to work evenings, and weekends as required.
- A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to deliver innovative event experiences.
- A passion for innovation and an eagerness to create unique and memorable event experiences.
- Creative problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Exceptional leadership skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team to achieve outstanding results.
- Own transportation is preferred due to our property's location.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $34.79 - $41.75 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Warrandyte, VIC 3113: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
