Join SALHN's compassionate team providing essential pastoral care to patients, families, and staff across diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. This rewarding part-time contract offers the chance to contribute to holistic healthcare at one of South Australia's leading medical facilities.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the SALHN Spiritual Care Manager, some of your duties for the role will include:

- Support patients with diverse beliefs and experiences offering patient centred care
- Work in an open and collaborative manner, respecting the differing skills, ideas and attitudes of colleagues
- Out of hours work will be required. The Spiritual Care Chaplains are to be available for the Spiritual Care Service on call roster
- Provide confidential emotional and spiritual support for patients, their families and staff
- Develop and facilitate rituals for patients, families and carers as appropriate
- Document spiritual care in patient medical records which includes recording patient referrals, interventions, and outcomes

**About you**:

- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of a sensitive, respectful approach to spiritual, multi-faith and multi-cultural issues
- Able to provide confidential emotional and spiritual support for patients, their families and staff
- Relevant experience as a spiritual care practitioner, providing appropriate spiritual care within a faith
- Well-developed computer and written skills
