**Civil**
**Supervisor** to assist deliver a high-profile infrastructure project across a gas transmission steel pipeline based in Melbourne.

Your primary goal is simple You will be accountable for controlling all aspects of the project construction; ensuring the project is adequately resourced with plant and materials; and supervising all works to ensure quality and productivity standards are met

Reporting to the Project Manager you will ply your trade to oversee site safety, drive the effective management of all onsite staff and subcontractors, control the site flow of work, and effective management of resources to ensure project is meeting the program time, scope, budget and quality requirements

**You will be trusted with**:

- Providing supervision of sites, working closely with the Project Team
- Supervising all works completed onsite to ensure required quality and productivity
- Resourcing plant and material for the works including programming the works
- Coordinating tasks and ensuring adherence to safe work method statements and risk assessments
- Overseeing site safety requirements, managing risk assessments and safety documentation
- Effectively assisting and managing on-site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Liaising with clients, sub-contractors and internal team to achieve productive outcomes for the project
- Interpret drawings and specifications
- Ensuring OH&S requirements are always met

You are an exceptional communicator, natural problem solver, and are a pro-active, you motivate well, and lead by example You have excellent organisational skills and have the confidence in managing varied, and complex projects. Your proven reputation in your ability to cope with urgency, along with effectively and efficiently assigning and prioritising work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on quality and safety will see you a valued asset

Essentials are:

- Earthworks/trenching or pipeline experience
- 5 years + experience in a production & supervisory role
- Extensive commitment and understanding to all matters relating health, safety and environment
- Ability and experience to run direct and sub-contract labour teams safely and productively
- Be practical-minded and work with hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills
