We are currently seeking a values-driven and dedicated Ministry Assistant to provide coordinated ministry leadership and oversight of Youth Ministry within the Wyndham City Corps. In this role you will create, facilitate and sustain meaningful ways of engaging young people in the community with the Gospel message and provide discipleship pathways that lead to the spiritual growth and maturity of all individuals.

You will successfully
- Lead Youth Ministry and the volunteer team at the Wyndham City Corps, including oversight of all youth ministry and outreach activities, special events and discipleship groups
- Coordinate and represent the Youth & Young Adults Ministries portfolio at Senior Leadership level and participate in Senior Leadership Team meetings at the Corp
- Lead regular Youth Ministry Volunteer team meetings
- Identify, develop and mentor emerging leaders from within the Youth Ministry
- Network and develop broad community relationships in the local community to connect youth to current programs and pursue opportunities for new ministry initiatives
- Provide hands-on leadership and facilitation of all Youth Ministries
- Provide discipleship and pastoral care to youth and young adults

You will have
- Active involvement in church ministries
- Diploma of Theology, Ministry, Chaplaincy, Youth Work or Pastoral Care is desirable
- Experience in youth or children ministry
- A current and valid Working with Children Check or equivalent
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
