The Role

Our Lagoon Street site is situated in the Bega Valley Shire and is the original site of Bega Cheese. Located on the beautiful Sapphire coast, far south coast of NSW, Lagoon Street is still producing Australia's favourite cheese products - cheddar cheese, string cheese as well as butter.

We are looking for a dedicated Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the implementation of the One Bega Excellence (BEX) Operating System. This role is central to enhancing site performance, promoting best practices, and building long-term capability across all functions. You will work closely with the site leadership team to prioritise and execute the Continuous Improvement program, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, and Cost.

Responsibilities- Lead the deployment of the Bega Excellence Operating System across the site- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and structured problem-solving- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities- Deliver measurable outcomes in safety, quality, cost, and efficiency- Build Continuous Improvement capability across all levels of the site

About you- Proven manufacturing experience, ideally within the Dairy or FMCG industry-
- Strong change management skills to support transformation and build long-term capability- Proficiency in structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis techniques- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
