Are you a passionate Early Childhood Educator ready to take the next step in your career? Busy Bees at Lara is looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Educator to join our growing Hive and lead a room with confidence, care, and creativity.
Located just outside of Geelong, our service offers a warm and inclusive environment, where educators are empowered to deliver high-quality programs that nurture each child’s development.
About the Role: As a Lead Educator, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)- Lead and support a team of educators in your room to maintain a nurturing and inclusive environment- Collaborate with families to build strong relationships and support each child’s development- Maintain documentation, learning journals, and reflections- Ensure all practices align with the National Quality Standards (NQS)
What You’ll Need:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Lead Educator or Room Leader role- Sound understanding of EYLF, NQS and child development- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Current WWCC (Employee), First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates- Full working rights in Australia
