Ict Technician

**Efiniti Telecommunications Services** is a lead supplier of professional services in the Telecommunications and Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry. Efiniti is an Australian owned and based company that specialises in these fields across three business sectors — Carrier & ICT, Corporate & Government, and Technology Vendor.

We are looking for an **IT Support Specialist** to join our ICT division team as we embark on an expanding our ITC services. In this role you will be responsible to support internal IT team as well as managing ICT Projects and coordinating with our clients.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Installing and maintaining ICT-Telco Networking Equipment, including Voice/Data Cabling, etc
- Deploying and maintaining Carriage Services, e.g Broadband, SIP, Mobile Gateways, SatComs, etc
- Provisioning and Supporting Software/Applications, e.g. Cybersecurity, MS365, Cloud PBX, etc
- In-house, In-field and Remote Access support and maintenance, etc.
- Assisting sales staff with technical queries and pre-sales site audits/qualifications.
- Actioning and resolving IT related issues
- Answering inbound calls from staff and clients for IT support
- Proactively monitoring systems and networks, ensuring all are running optimally

**Technical skills**

**Desirables**:

- Minimum two years of experience installing and maintaining PBX Systems or ICT Networks
- High level of competency in troubleshooting business/enterprise networking equipment
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS), Server management Windows/Linux)
- O365 Administration and Office 365 Products
- Sound knowledge of TCP/IP and service provider networks
- Switching and routing concept
- Experience with Networking (configuring firewalls/routers/switches)
- Remote support (VPN, RDS)
- VOIP, SIP
- Experience with L2/L3 routing protocols, load balancing
- Eye for detail and ability to follow established protocols and procedures

**Preferred**:

- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience with domain / cPanel management.
- Microsoft certification
- Cisco certification
- ITIL
- ACMA Cabling Licence Endorsements - Structured, Optical, Coaxial, Testing, Aerial & Underground
- Experience with DNS and Website hosting
- Experience with cloud hosting solutions such as Microsoft 365 and cPanel
- Driver Licence, Whitecard, Working at heights/EWP Licence

**Who we’re looking for**
- IT Engineering degree, CCNA Qualification and Open Cabler's License is a **MUST**
- Exceptional stakeholder management and customer service skills, with the ability to provide an **exceptional user experience**
- **Strong communications skills**, both written and verbal, including a personable and professional phone manner and the ability to explain technical issues using non-technical language.
- Experience in **IT Networking** (CISCO) within Install + Servicing + Troubleshooting
- Any additional experience within Communication, IT, AV or Data Systems
- Previous service desk analyst experience in Telco or IT sector would be preferred
- Strong analytical and **technical problem-solving skills** is required
- Highly organised with **strong attention to detail**, accuracy, and time management for competing priorities
- Ability to take own initiative and resolve problems
- Comfortable working **onsite** in dynamic, ever-changing environments
- Strong **troubleshooting and problem-solving** skills & experience in the above listed industries
- **Flexible for travel**, including extended assignments on location
