**The Role**

The Analyst, reporting directly to the Associate Director Market Data, will implement and support the market data governance framework in line with IFM's roadmap architecture and design standards. They will manage business-as-usual activities, support vendor management, and contribute to critical activities across Data Capability and Investment Operations. Effective stakeholder management and market data governance practices are essential for achieving the best outcomes for the business.

**Specific areas of responsibilities include**:

- Support maintenance of vendor inventory and costs databases, and periodic reporting on usage and compliance to market data vendors.
- Support the Senior Associate and Associate Director to meet market data needs of the business including procurement lifecycle i.e., requirements gathering, contract reviews and coordinate agreement execution, and onboarding.
- Support the implementation of the market data vendor strategy and vendor governance framework that reduces commercial and contractual risk to IFM.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of tooling required to support market data governance initiatives.
- Educate business users on market data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support on market data aspects of other projects and initiatives in Operations and IFM five-year strategic goals.
- Support as needed critical Data Capability and Investment Operations functions

**Your Background and Experience**
- At least 2 - 3 years of experience in operational roles ideally with a superannuation fund; fund manager, asset consultant or academic institution.
- Tertiary qualifications in business systems, computer science, data science, commerce, or related field.
- Experience with data management, market data governance and vendor relationship management.
- Experience in supporting data governance processes, and understanding of standards, and policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
