**Description**:
About the role
We are looking for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our busy Accounts Receivable team. This role will suit someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and able to multitask. You will also be self-motivated, organised, show initiative and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
Maintenance of current customer data information files and databases
Ensuring new customer accounts are assessed and opened within agreed company timeframes
Maintain the PPSR register
Effectively communicate with customers regarding their account status and maintenance
Effectively communicate with all internal departments regarding account issues or maintenance as required
Daily banking and credit hold review and release
Receipting and allocations of customer payments
Account reconciliations
Month end reporting
Process credit card payments
All other administrative and Accounts Receivable duties as required
Contribute to the culture of finance and organisational efficiency and effectiveness by acting ethically, honestly and fairly at all times
**Skills and Experiences**:
About you
- Certificate 3 in Accounting or equivalent
- Previous experience in a full function AR role, minimum 2 years
- Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills and intermediate MS Word and Office skills
- Proficient with large ERP systems, such as SAP or JDE
- Professional attitude towards customers and internal stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and communciation skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi task
- Want to be part of a vibrant and diverse team
