- As a Trainee Essential Services Technician, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals to service and maintain Essential Safety Measures in line with Australian Standards. You will receive structured, on-the-job training and complete a Certificate II in Fire Equipment Maintenance, with the goal of gaining a restricted licence in Hose Reel and Hydrant Testing.

What you will be doing

With training and support, you will:

- Inspect, test, maintain, and repair:

- Portable fire protection equipment
- Hose reels and hydrant valves
- Emergency and exit lighting
- Signage and means of egress
- Fire and smoke doors
- Accurately complete service reports and document defects
- Assist with quoting repairs and equipment replacements
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Adhere to company and client safety standards and policies
- Attend and complete all required training sessions

**What you need**
- A current driver’s licence.
- Working with Children Check (preferred, not essential).
