We help customers book reliable home services - beauty treatments, massages, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning etc. Since its inception in November 2014, the company has expanded to 22 cities, served over 5 million customers, and onboarded 30,000 trained and skilled service professionals. Urban Company launched in Melbourne in May 2021 after a successful launch in Sydney in 2019
Urban Company is looking to hire an Onboarding Specialist. In this role, you will play a key role in growing our hero category, Home Cleaning by sourcing and upskilling new service professionals and refining the overall onboarding strategy. You’ll also be responsible for leading initiatives aimed at improving partner engagement and reducing churn. This role is critical to the growth of Urban Company in Australia. We are looking for a confident individual with strong communication skills who will naturally enjoy the "account management" part of this role.
**Job Requirements**
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy figuring out how to solve new and challenging problems.

- You care deeply about your work and maintain a high standard of quality
- You are a go-getter with a can-do attitude and enjoy being hands-on
- You have strong communication skills and work collaboratively with others
- You get energy from talking to customers and service providers, empathising with them, and truly understanding their problems
- Ideally, you have prior experience in a sales role
**Key responsibilities** - as an Onboarding Specialist you will:
- Own the creation and optimisation of an effective onboarding funnel. You must be comfortable communicating on the phone with partners
- Define and refine the value proposition for partners and customers
- Manage the category trainers to continuously improve the quality of service delivered by our service delivery partners
