The newest division of the Ahrens family of brands which was acquired in early 2021 to further expand our offering in water storage solutions, joining existing water storage brands Pioneers Water Tanks and Southern Cross Water. Altanks specialise in highly efficient round and rectangular tank designs for fire storage, water treatment, mine sites, potable water and rainwater harvesting. Altanks team install and service tanks in all parts of Asia, every state and territory in Australia and every climatic condition.
**About the role**:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Water tank maintenance - with all maintenance training provided;
- Installing and repairing equipment and performing underwater inspections for customers;
- Ensure a safe workplace is maintained and safe work practices are used;
- Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained in your area;
- Engage in Continuous Improvement activities and tasks within your team;
- Take initiative in a small team to solve complex problems associated with your areas of influence.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Extensive communication skills (both spoken and written);
- Current drivers licence;
- Ability to learn robotic underwater inspection equipment - with all training provided;
- Full availability to work Monday - Friday;
- An interest in learning new skills;
- Willingness to travel on an ad-hoc basis as required;
- Previous experience in a Labourer, technical or trade based environment will be highly regarded.
