**BŌS Restaurant & Aviary Terrace Bar - Bar Manager**

The combined businesses of BŌS and The Aviary are on the hunt for a bar manager to work across both venues to develop and curate the beverage offer, oversee bar staff and operations, and manage beverage costs

This is a unique role that will see you working in, and influencing both venues. From the sophistication of BŌS bar servicing Brisbane’s finest grill-based menu, to the subtropical terrace bar ‘The Aviary’.

**The Role**

This is a role that will see you curating our beverage lists, managing all beverage stock holdings, and training our staff to love all things beverage as much as you do.
- You will be responsible for all aspects of the 2 bars
- You will manage all beverage stocktakes and beverage control
- You will guide and train our bar staff in service excellence and in developing cracker cocktails.
- You will work with the front-of-house team at large to deliver exceptional service.
- You will work with our beverage suppliers to ensure that no delivery docket goes unnoticed and unsigned - you will be the friendly but strict gate-keeper of all beverage deliveries
- As part of the leadership team, you will also help drive sales, develop, train and mentor staff

**Your skills**
- We want someone that has an amazing eye for detail and is super organised
- You will have solid beverage knowledge - ideally WSET certifications under your belt
- You will know how to manage stocktakes, ordering & stock management
- You will have sound knowledge of the Restaurant & Hospitality Industry, alongside an extensive knowledge of cocktail, spirits, wine, and beer and what is on trend.
- You will be the type of person the likes to promote a positive and productive crew culture
- And you will display a positive, helpful and polite attitude towards guests and crew
- You will love what you do - and do what you love

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
